survey on tabletYakima Urology Associates conducted a comprehensive patient satisfaction survey during the fourth quarter of 2015. The purpose of the survey was to measure patient perceptions of the work processes and provider/staff performance that affect satisfaction, loyalty, and willingness to refer others to the practice.

The majority of our mean scores in this survey cycle are above the National Urology Database mean scores.

Here are some of the results that we received:

  • 95.1% Said their overall satisfaction with the practice was excellent or very good.

  • 95.6% Said the quality of their medical care was excellent or very good.

  • 97.8% Said they would recommend the provider or nurse.

  • 92.4% Said the helpfulness of the billing/insurance department was excellent or very good.

  • 96.6% Said the helpfulness and courtesy of the receptionist and office staff was very good or excellent.

  • 94.8% Said that their provider explained things excellently/very well in a way they could understand.

  • 95.7% Said that their provider listened carefully to them.

  • 95.7% Said their provider took time to answer all of their questions.

 

We also appreciated all of the input from our patients about what we can improve on.  From the survey results we plan on improving these things:

  • Waiting time in the exam room

  • Getting care for illness/ injury as soon as you needed it

  • Appointment available within a reasonable amount of time

  • Getting after-hours care when you needed it

  • Ease of getting a referral when you needed one
