On Aug 1st, 2015, Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital purchased the YUA Surgery Center to meet the demand for additional capacity in serving the community’s surgical needs. The Surgery Center is now called Memorial Surgery Center at Ridgeview. It still is located in the same building as Yakima Urology Associates.
Yakima Urology Associates Clinic remains its own separate operation in the same location Yakima Urology. Physicians continue to provide outpatient surgical services in Memorial Surgery Center at Ridgeview.
Yakima Urology Physicians treats patients at both local hospitals: Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, (who has partnered with Virginia Mason) and Yakima Regional Medical Center.
Billing
Professional Fees: Yakima Urology Physicians still continues to bill patients for their services. These are commonly called ‘professional fees’. As always, these professional fees will be billed to you by Yakima Urology Associates, PLLC for services you receive regardless of where the services are performed.
Facility Fees:
Each facility, i.e., Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, Yakima Regional Medical Center, or Memorial Surgery Center at Ridgeview will bill facility fees for services performed at their facilities.
Other Fees: Anesthesiologist and Radiologist fees will continue to be billed separately if needed.
